The advanced Hans M61 HANS Posts Quick Release Tether allows the user to quickly and efficiently release attachment tethers by swiftly pulling on a cord each side of the HANS device instead of the more complicated and inefficient traditional locking mechanism.
The quick release tether system can be fitted to any helmet that includes FIA 8858-2010 posts (M6 female on the helmet) and is available with four different lengths of tether. This kit contains only the new tether and not the specialist M61 HANS posts.
