We have updated our Alpinestars Tech 1 Race V4 racing gloves with the latest 2024 information, product specifications and FIA approval details. The glove comes in five sizes and six colour options.
It sits in the middle of the Alpinestars glove range, and it is a good choice for drivers at any level who want proper heat and flame protection without paying for a top end glove.

What we have updated
The Tech 1 Race V4 listing now carries the full 2024 specification and approval details. The glove has been redesigned to meet FIA 8856-2018, the current standard, with more heat and flame protection than before and no loss of fit.
It comes in sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL and six colour options: black and red, black and blue, white and red, black and orange, black and fluro yellow, and black and tar grey.
What the Race V4 has
The glove is made from flame resistant aramid fibre with an extended cuff, so more of the wrist is covered where the glove meets the suit sleeve. The palms and fingers are pre-curved to cut down on material bunching when you hold the wheel, and a revised silicone print on the palm improves feel and grip. The wrist closure is elasticated.
External stitching is the feature customers in the showroom ask about most. The Race V4 has its seams on the outside of the palm side, which lets the glove sit closer to the hand without a seam pressing into the fingers.
