Safety technology in motorsport is becoming more and more advanced every season, however, tragic accidents can still happen.
The 17 year-oldĀ F4 driver, Billy Monger, was involved in a high-speed collision with the rear of another driver’s vehicle on Sunday at Donington Park. Since that time, due to the severity of the accident, he has had to have both legs amputated.
A JustGiving campaign is currently underway to raise money to help Billy resume a normal life in the future. You can donate here.
Here at GSM Performance, our thoughts are with Billy and his family right now and we wish him a speedy recovery.
