It’s a well-known fact that, at GSM Performance, we love cars. What’s lesser-known is how much we like Lego, so you can imagine how amazed we were when McLaren revealed their 1:1 scale McLaren 720S made entirely out of Lego.
Recently, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, McLaren brought their replica 720S along with them and asked attendees to help finish the model by each placing an orange brick to make the main body panels.
Constructed with over 280,000 bricks, the completed 720S weighed around 1.6tons, weighing more than the actual vehicle itself.
We can’t imagine how long this incredible creation took to make.
