McLaren has revealed some of the details about their brand-new upcoming Hyper-GT vehicle, codenamed the BP23, which will be their fastest road car ever produced!
Originally designed to be a bespoke creation for one very lucky customer, the BP23 project gathered large amounts of interest from other wealthy petrolheads, resulting in a change of plans from McLaren as they made the decision to create it as a limited-run production vehicle. Before you get your hopes up about pre-ordering one, boss of McLaren, Mike Flewitt, stated that all of the units being produced have already been pre-purchased.
Designed to seat three people, this Hyper-GT vehicle will be powered by an incredibly powerful 4.0-litre V8 engine as well as a state-of-the-art hybrid system, producing 903bph when used together.
Set to be released in 2019, Flewitt mentioned that the McLaren BP23 is neither a successor to the F1 or P1, instead, it is its own unique design.
We can’t wait to see how the BP23 project turns out from McLaren! For more information, read more about it over on TopGear.com!
