The NIO EP9’s Nürburgring Record

The Nürburgring fastest lap record has been beaten by a new contender! The Chinese manufacturer, NIO, took their £1.4 million production supercar, the EP9, for a spin around the ‘Ring and ended up taking home the crown for the fastest lap time!

This would be an incredible achievement for any manufacturer, however, this one stands out. Not only is the EP9 NIO’s first production car, it’s also powered by electricity. Capable of producing 1342bhp & reaching a top speed of 194mph, NIO has proven that their car is a beast to be reckoned with.
