The latest version of the KMX-5 kart suit by Alpinestars has been designed to offer maximum breathability and comfort, whilst also providing a weight reduction without compromising safety. Alpinestars have updated their suit design to achieve this, as they now use an all-new outer shell material along with a soft knit inner lining to provide excellent levels of support and protection for the person wearing the suit.
The KMX-5 is Alpinestars flagship karting suit and as a result, they have decided to uphaul and renovate the model, creating an exciting new karting suit for 2023! The new KMX-5 V2 offers improved breathability, comfort, and protection. The panels on the suit’s arms, legs, and torso have been specially designed to reduce material bunching and improve comfort while sitting in a driving position for an extended period of time. Laser cut perforations in the upper chest and back areas along with open weave mesh in the sides, crotch, and underarm areas, allow for improved airflow, which lets the suit effectively control and regulate body temperature, resulting in reduced perspiration. Fully floating arms and a flexible stretch knit fabric on the shoulder and lower back areas allow for a close-fitting suit without restricting movement when driving.
