Alpinestars Supermono V2 race boots, revised and updated flagship model for the 2022 season. Alpinestars updated design now features a fireproof inner “sock” which provides a true sock-like fit, meaning the driver will feel both comfortable and safe. The Supermono race boots have always been renowned for their patented one-piece, supple leather upper, and the new design has not replaced that, but instead improved upon it, by giving the leather a more contoured, sculpted shape, which better adapts to the lines of the foot for improved feel.
Alpinestars have chosen to use the quick lace system with these boots, using a hook and loop strap closure, which not only makes fastening the boots effortless and fast but also reduces weight and ensures a personalised fit. Comfort has really been considered when designing the Supermono V2 race boots, and as a result, the boots include a number of features that provide maximum levels of comfort for the driver. Perforation zones allow for optimal ventilation, whilst the micro-porous padding around the heel and insole absorb shocks and vibrations, which result in reduced fatigue. The boots also use an exclusive F1-derived thin rubber sole, providing increased levels of grip and better pedal sensitivity when driving.
