Over in Washington in the USA on the 2nd of May, people were casually going about their normal evening commute when they witnessed a rather shocking accident – literally.
A Piper PA-32-260 light aircraft was rapidly losing altitude due to an engine failure, getting dangerously close to the ground. It then hit electric power lines, causing a large explosion which erupted from the plane as a fiery cloud as it crashed into the ground below.
According to police reports of the incident, the plane’s pilot & passenger received no injuries, however, two people on the ground had minor injuries.
Occurrences like this make us realise how important dash-cams are for documenting events on the road.
