2025 Sparco Helmets Now Available: The Stealth RF, Stealth RF Carbon And Flux RJ
Helmet news, January 2025
Sparco's new helmet range for 2025 has arrived on our site: the Stealth RF and Stealth RF Carbon full face helmets, and the Flux RJ open face. All three are homologated to FIA 8859-2024, the newest FIA helmet standard.
That is the headline. The helmets look good, with a choice of shell and lining colours, but the real reason to look at them is that they are built to the 2024 standard from the start. Here is what each one is and how to choose between them.
- Three new Sparco helmets for 2025: Stealth RF, Stealth RF Carbon and Flux RJ
- All three are homologated to FIA 8859-2024
- HANS posts are fitted as standard on all three
- Sizes run from XS (53 to 54 cm) to XXL (62 cm)
- Stealth RF in black or white, with a black or red lining

Why FIA 8859-2024 matters
FIA 8859-2024 is the newest FIA standard for car racing helmets. The FIA’s own homologation list shows the Stealth RF and Flux RJ homologated from July 2024. Many helmets on sale in early 2025 are still approved to the earlier 8859-2015 standard, which most UK club series continue to accept.
Buying a 2024-standard helmet now means it covers you if your championship moves to the newer standard during the life of the helmet. Garreth’s advice is simple: check your series regulations before you buy any helmet, and if in doubt, send them to us. Our guide to FIA and Snell helmet standards explains how the approvals work.
The Stealth RF and Stealth RF Carbon
Stealth RF. A full face helmet with a light fibreglass shell, active ventilation and HANS posts fitted. The shell comes in black or white and the lining in black or red, chosen when you order.
Stealth RF Carbon. The same design with a carbon fibre shell, to save weight and reduce neck strain over a race distance. It has chin bar and top intakes with rear exhaust vents, removable and washable fire-retardant linings, provision for a drink system and a three-position visor with a central lock.

The Flux RJ open face
The Flux RJ is an open face helmet with a fibreglass shell, also homologated to FIA 8859-2024 and with HANS posts fitted. It is made in two shell sizes for a better fit across the size range, and the linings are removable and washable.
Open face helmets suit closed cars, especially rally and stage cars where intercoms and good all-round vision matter. For open cockpit cars you need a full face helmet. The Flux RJ comes with a black lining and a black or white shell.

Sizing
All three run in seven sizes: XS (53 to 54 cm), S (55 to 56 cm), M (57 to 58 cm), ML (59 cm), L (60 cm), XL (61 cm) and XXL (62 cm). Measure around your head just above the eyebrows. A helmet should be snug with no movement when you shake your head, and it should not press on one spot. Our helmet sizing guide shows how to measure.
