The new-look OMP KS-4
The KS-4 is OMP's entry-level kart glove, and it has a new design for 2023. The KS-4 name now runs down the back of the glove, with OMP branding on the thumb and detailing around the rest of the glove.
It is built for comfort. Elasticated wrists hold the glove in place, and suede leather palms give grip on the wheel. It is a good first glove for drivers new to karting, and there are six colours to choose from.

The rest of the OMP kart glove range
Each OMP kart glove has its own design and its own mix of materials on the back and palm. All of them are made for grip, so you have better control of the wheel, but they are aimed at different drivers. The KS-2 and KS-3 suit drivers starting out, and there is a model made for wet weather.
At the top of the range, the KS-2 Art is OMP’s professional specification kart glove. The latest version adds a neoprene insert and an elasticated wrist closure, with a slash-cut design.
Our guide to the best karting gloves compares the options if you are choosing between brands.
OMP kart gloves in the showroom
The KS-4 and the KS-2 Art are both on display at our showroom, so you can see them and try them on. We have made separate listings online for the colours and sizes we hold in store.
Garreth’s advice is to try a glove with your hands flat and then gripping, as a glove that is snug when your hand is open can pull tight across the knuckles on the wheel. The fingertips should just touch the ends, with no loose material.
