Recently at the H&H Classics auction at Woodgate Park, the first World Rally Championship-spec Subaru Impreza was sold for £230,000. This car was tested to its limits by the one & only Colin McRae, which allowed Prodrive to further refine & enhance the vehicle for use in rally championships.
Originally engineered for brand new ‘World Rally Car’ regulations with a 2.0-litre engine capable of producing 300bhp, this incredible vehicle is now the world’s most valuable Subaru Impreza.
Due to its remarkable design, performance & drivers, the Subaru Impreza is perhaps the most iconic rally vehicle to this day.
