Knowing how bonkers the Bugatti Veyron was, we wouldn’t expect anything less from Bugatti’s latest creation. This year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Bugatti took the opportunity to show off the full capability of the Chiron.
They took on the record for the car to accelerate from a standstill to 249mph, and then half to a stop again. It’s no surprise that the 1,479bhp engine in the Chiron is able to accomplish that feat in a mere 41.96 seconds (and 3.1km of tarmac).
With a 32.6 second acceleration period covering 2.6km & 9.3 seconds of braking over the course of 491 metres, we think that this accomplishment is seriously impressive.
Only 200 more Chirons of the total 500 are available for purchase, so we’d recommend sorting a loan out shortly.
