The lightweight shells of both helmets are crafted from high-quality composite materials to provide exceptional strength, durability & protection. Fitted with an ergonomic & highly breathable fireproof lining, OMP GP8-series helmets ensure maximum user comfort at all times during use. Featuring a phenomenal ventilation system, OMP’s latest range of full-face helmets constantly provide cool & fresh air to the wearer through strategically located vents. As well as a double D-ring fastening system, the GP8-series helmets also incorporate a brand-new & exclusive visor locking system to secure your visor with ease.
GP8 VS GP8K:
Whilst both helmets share many features with each other, there are a few vital differences. As a result, it is highly important to know which one is right for you.
- FIA 8859-2015 & Snell SA2015 homologated, making it ideal for use in professional events including rallying & stock racing.
- HANS posts fitted to the helmet as standard to enable compatibility with FIA 8858-2010 HANS systems.
- Includes a smoked touring visor* that can be interchanged with the original, perfect for use in closed cockpit situations.
- Snell K2015 homologated, making it ideal for use in professional karting events.
- Can be retrofitted with FIA 8858-2010 HANS posts in order to become FIA 8859-2015 homologated.
