1. Hub / Steering Wheel Fitment
You will require a vehicle boss kit to install an aftermarket steering wheel. This boss kit adapts your steering column to the new steering wheel bolt pattern and allows direct fitment.
2. Adding A Quick Release
When fitting a quick-release system for your steering wheel. The boss kit is still required. The quick release will sandwich between the boss and the steering wheel.
3. PCD Bolt Patterns
The BG Quick release has additional bolt points utilising a 6x70mm & 6x74mm multi-drilled PCD bolt pattern allowing the quick-release system to be fitted to all steering wheels with a matching bolt pattern.

Which boss kit fits my steering wheel and car?
Start with the car, not the wheel: the boss kit has to match your specific steering column, so that’s what determines which one you need. Once you’ve got the right boss kit, wheel choice is easy, Momo, OMP and Sparco all use the same 6x70mm bolt pattern, so any of the three will bolt straight on.
If you’re adding a quick release too, a multi-drilled BG-type unit with the 6x70mm and 6x74mm pattern covers the widest range of wheels.
