Crash Testing a Lego Model Porsche

At GSM Performance, we absolutely love cars! We also really like Lego, especially when it’s used to construct a car.

The incredible ADAC Crashtest facility in Landsberg got their destructive hands on a Lego Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS, so you can imagine what happened after. Once the 2700 piece kit had been built by following 856 instructions in the manual, ADAC developed a mini crash test setup specifically for the model.

It comes as no surprise that the Lego Porsche didn’t cope well with a 28mph impact into a miniature crash wall, however, very few components were actually damaged as a result of the collision.
