DiRT Rally VR Announced For PlayStation VR
Legendary UK racing games developer, Codemasters, has officially announced PlayStation VR support for DiRT Rally. Set to be released in the coming weeks, owners of the base game can purchase a digital upgrade for £9.99 whereas, for those that currently don’t have DiRT Rally, the game will receive an updated physical version including all updates and the brand-new VR mode.
Unlike some VR game updates, DiRT Rally will be completely playable and allow you to drive any of the outstanding cars across any of the adrenaline-fuelled courses. All event types are available to choose from as well as event conditions! At GSM we can’t wait to go hurling round a snow-covered course at midnight in an off-road weapon.
That’s not all though! A brand-new co-driver mode allows a second player to participate in events as the headset wearer’s vigilant co-driver by using the social screen. The co-driver’s actions will directly influence what the driver hears at any point during the event to perfectly recreate the thrill of rallying.
