GSM Performance Is Now GDPR Compliant

On May the 25th 2018, new data protection laws and regulations come into place affecting all businesses in the UK. Here at GSM Performance, we’re pleased to say that we’re now GDPR compliant! We’ve updated our policies and internal systems early to comply with these new regulations. We are completely honest about how we use your data, as we take your privacy and protection very seriously.

We will NEVER share your data with any third-party organisations and nothing is synchronised across any CRM or third-party accounting software. The only details we collect are used to process your orders or process an application for finance. We do not store details we do not need to retain.

Any contact form that is sent in via our website is emailed to our sales team, and a soft copy is also kept on this website. This soft copy is in case there is an issue with sending emails from the website, it ensures no contact form entry is lost.

If you send us a copy of your CV, your information will be viewed and the email may be left in our email archive in case we need someone with your skill set in future. By sending your CV you are showing a legitimate interest in working for GSM Performance.

If you wish to receive a copy of the information we hold about you, modify it or have it deleted, please contact our Data Protection Officer, Garreth Sleigh, via Customer-Services@GSMPerformance.co.uk or by calling 0115 989 3488 and selecting the third option for accounts. This will take no longer than one calendar week to complete, however, we will be unable to delete any data specifically required by HMRC for invoicing during the last seven years.

Data that you enter into our terminal is encrypted by creating billions of code combinations to protect each transaction made on our site, so your card details cannot be viewed by anyone else using the internet. In addition, our site supports 128-bit encryption and therefore keeps your details as safe as possible at all times. No credit or debit card details are stored once your order has been processed.
