The New Honda Civic Type-R’s Nürburgring Record

The new Honda Civic Type-R that we reported on a while back has recently broken a Nürburgring record.

Now crowned as the fastest front-wheel-drive car to lap the Nordschleife, the 2017 Honda Civic Type-R beats the previous fastest time set by the Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport S by over three seconds!

Clocking in at 7 minutes & 43.8 seconds, the Honda Civic Type-R demonstrates its track dominance around the 12.9-mile long German circuit. Check out the full lap in Honda’s official video below.
