The MOMO Montecarlo Steering Wheel Now Comes In Blue

MOMO has added a blue version of the Montecarlo steering wheel, and it has just joined our MOMO range. It has blue stitching and a blue centre horn button, and it sits alongside the colour versions and the standard black wheel we already list.
It arrives at the same time as a full update of our MOMO steering wheel listings for the 2022 season, so this is a good moment to go through what has changed and what we have on display in the showroom.

What is on this page
The blue Montecarlo
The Montecarlo is a three spoke wheel with a black leather grip and black aluminium spokes. The new version picks out the stitching and the centre horn button in blue, which makes it an easy match for a car with blue trim or blue paint.
With the blue added, the Montecarlo now comes in three colour versions alongside standard black. The colour versions are the 350mm wheel. If you want the plain black wheel, you also get a choice of diameter, 320mm or 350mm.
Like the rest of the MOMO range it uses a 6 bolt, 70mm PCD fitting, so it will not bolt straight onto a standard steering column. It needs a boss kit made for your car, and that is usually the part people ask us about first. Garreth’s advice is to sort the boss kit at the same time as the wheel, so everything arrives together and fits first time.

Our MOMO range, updated for 2022
We have been through every MOMO steering wheel on the site. Each listing now gives the dimensions and materials of the wheel, and the images and prices have been brought up to date for the 2022 season.
We have also added a bundle option on the MOMO wheels: the B-G Racing Quick Release Steering Wheel Boss. It can be added at the checkout, so if you want the wheel to come off the car, you can order the quick release in the same basket.
The range itself covers a lot of ground, with different diameters and dish depths, several grip materials, plenty of colours and a choice of fitting options.
Two other MOMO wheels worth a look
The MOMO Model 08 has aluminium spokes and a choice of two grips, suede or leather, with the spokes available in black or blue. It is one of the more customisable wheels in the range.
At the other end of the range is the MOMO heritage collection. These are classic three spoke designs, some with wooden rims, and they carry the older MOMO logo. They suit a classic car with a period interior, where a modern wheel would look out of place.
MOMO wheels in the showroom
We have four MOMO steering wheels on display in the showroom this year, so you can see them and hold them before you buy. The one we pick out most often is the MOMO Prototipo Black Edition. It has black leather, black cut out aluminium spokes with “Prototipo Black Edition” laser etched on them, and a matt and gloss black MOMO Arrow horn button, so it keeps a classic look while freshening up the interior.
