The advanced Hybrid Pro Lite, is the lightest Hybrid Frontal Head Restraint on the market as it is 30% lighter than the initial Hybrid Pro.
This product is supplied ready to fit to your existing FIA HANS posts, however, it can be provided with optional M61 quick release tethers which are fitted in place of your original HANS posts.
Standard HANS Posts – This option enables the Simpson Hybrid Pro Lite Head & Neck Restraint to be used with helmets that have standard fitment HANS anchors already fitted. Approved for helmets maintaining the FIA 8858-2002 / FIA 8858-2010 standard or higher.
M61 Quick Release System – This option allows the wearer to release the restraint by simply pulling on the cord attached to the helmet. Approved for helmets maintaining the FIA 8858-2010 standard or higher. Ideal for motorsport events, such as rallying, in which the helmet may be frequently taken on and off.
The Simpson Hybrid Pro Lite Head & Neck Restraint size that you require will vary depending on the circumference of your chest whilst wearing all racewear needed in a motorsport event. All measurements should be taken in centimetres from below your chest muscles in order to obtain an accurate reading.
