The Rocked-IT Bag Range For 2026: Three Bags And What Each One Carries
Which Rocked-IT bag do you need? It depends on what you carry from the car to the paddock: a helmet, a helmet and a HANS, or everything you race in. Rocked-IT make one bag for each of those, and we have just added the Helmet and FHR Bag to our site alongside the other two.

Rocked-IT Helmet and FHR Bag
If a HANS or other FHR device goes everywhere your helmet goes, this is the one to buy.
- Takes a helmet and an FHR device together
- Velcro false floor keeps them apart
- Hand made in the UK
- Big enough for a motocross helmet
The three bags side by side
Rocked-IT are a father and son business in Hull, and bags are where they started. The range is small enough to fit in one table, so here it is. Every figure comes from Rocked-IT.

The Helmet and FHR Bag's fit is Rocked-IT's own guide. We have asked them for its size and will add it here when we have it.
Helmet Bag: for the helmet and nothing bulky
This is the smallest of the three and it does one job. At 40 x 30 x 21 cm it takes most standard sized helmets, and your gloves and balaclava can travel inside the helmet. An internal net section holds the small bits in place.
The fleece lining and double zips look after the paintwork and the visor, and the grey and red outer is a shower resistant material with carry handles and a shoulder strap.
It suits a track day driver, or anyone whose HANS lives somewhere else. Cameron would point you at it when the helmet is the only thing that needs its own bag. Part number R/IR001V2.
Helmet and FHR Bag: helmet and HANS together
The newest of the three on our site, and the one Rocked-IT hand make in the UK. It carries a helmet and a HANS or other FHR device in the same bag, with a velcro false floor between them. Use the floor to keep the two apart, or to store other items out of sight.
As a guide, Rocked-IT say it takes a standard size helmet, an FHR device, boots, gloves and a Nomex balaclava, and it is big enough for a motocross helmet.
The outer is blue, water resistant, hard wearing polyester with a soft lining inside. It has two carry handles and a shoulder strap with a padded grip. Part number R/IR005.
Motorsport Kit Bag: the whole race weekend
The largest bag Rocked-IT make, at 52 x 37 x 33 cm. It takes your helmet, FHR device, suit, boots, gloves and Nomex top, bottoms and balaclava, with pockets for licences, wallet and phone. Rocked-IT say that covers most if not all of a race weekend’s kit.
An internal divider keeps items apart, and that matters most when boots share a bag with a helmet. The bag is black polyester with red details and printed Rocked-IT logos. It is shower proof.
Part number R/IR004, with carry handles and a padded shoulder strap.
The sizes, drawn to scale
Rocked-IT print the Kit Bag as 52 cm long, 37 cm high and 33 cm wide. The Helmet Bag is printed as 40 x 30 x 21 cm with no labels, so we have drawn it with the longest side as the length and the 30 cm as the height. The Helmet and FHR Bag has no printed size, so it is not on the drawing.
These are the printed sizes of the bags, and we do not have figures for the space inside. To check a helmet, measure it from front to back with any peak or visor fitted. Not sure once you have the number? Drop us an email or click to open a chat, with the make and model.
Which one to go for
Helmet and HANS
The Helmet and FHR Bag. The false floor keeps them apart, and there is room for boots and gloves as well.
Everything you race in
The Motorsport Kit Bag, for your suit, boots, gloves, helmet and FHR device in one bag.
The rest of what we list is in our helmet bags and motorsport kit bags.
Questions we expect on these bags
What is an FHR device?
A frontal head restraint. It connects your helmet to your harness and shoulders, and the HANS is the best known one. It is an awkward shape to pack, which is why the Helmet and FHR Bag exists.
Will a motocross helmet fit?
Rocked-IT say the Helmet and FHR Bag takes a motocross helmet, and they do not say the same of the Helmet Bag, so go for the larger bag.
Are these bags waterproof?
Rocked-IT describe the Helmet Bag as shower resistant, the Helmet and FHR Bag as water resistant and the Kit Bag as shower proof. None of them is described as waterproof. Treat them as covered for rain on the walk across the paddock.
Where are they made?
Rocked-IT, who are based in Hull, tell us the Helmet and FHR Bag is hand made in the UK.
What we would do
Garreth
Garreth's top tip
Buy for what you carry now and the next thing you plan to add. If a HANS is on your list for next season, go straight to the Helmet and FHR Bag and you only buy once.
Cameron
Cameron's fitting view
I look at what is going to touch the visor. The false floor in the Helmet and FHR Bag and the divider in the Kit Bag both give the helmet its own space, so boots and buckles stay away from it. Pick whichever of those carries the rest of your kit.
Not sure which one you need?
Tell Garreth or Cameron your helmet and what you carry, and we will point you at the right bag. You can call in to the showroom in Nottingham too, but ring first if you want to see a particular bag.
