Sparco Race Suits Updated For 2023

Our whole Sparco FIA race suit range has been updated for 2023. The new suits Sparco released at the start of the year are now on the website, and many of the existing suits have new colours, including a fluorescent green option.
Every suit now carries the current FIA dates and up to date information on layers and safety features. Here is what is new, and the suits worth knowing about.

What is new in the range
Several suits have new variations for 2023. The Martini Racing suit now comes in blue, and fluorescent green has been added to the Sprint and the Futura. Each listing has been brought up to date with its FIA dates, the number of layers and the other safety features.
Fireproof suits are compulsory in most forms of motorsport, and the range covers a lot of sizes and colours, so there is a Sparco suit for most drivers.
The new Sparco Futura
The Futura is brand new for 2023 and is built around Sparco's Full Efficiency approach. Off-cuts left over from making race suits, which would once have been thrown away, are turned back into thread and woven into new cloth.
Sparco says 70 per cent of the Futura is made from this regenerated fabric, including the mid and inner liners, the epaulettes and the arm and knee reinforcements. It is approved to FIA 8856-2018, with pre-curved, fully floating sleeves and a large stretch panel at the back.

Other Sparco suits worth knowing
The Martini Racing suit is Sparco's Competition suit in Martini colours, and for 2023 it comes in blue as well as white. It is a two layer suit approved to FIA 8856-2018.
The Competition Vintage suit takes the same idea further back: retro styling with a modern FIA 8856-2018 approval, which suits classic car racing well.
At the top end, the Sparco Prime uses ultra thin stitching on the decorative details and thinner stitching on the structural seams, so the stitch pattern sits flat for comfort. The floating arm bellows and the stretch panels at the lower back are in a light, breathable fabric to help keep the driver cooler, and the outer layer is DuPont Nomex comfort fabric with good anti-static properties.

Gloves, boots and helmets to match
Some of the new suits have matching gloves, boots and balaclavas, and we have attached those to the suit at the checkout as bundle items, so a full set can go in one order.
To finish the set, a Sparco helmet is the natural partner. We carry ECE approved helmets for track days and karting as well as FIA 8859 and FIA 8860 helmets for competition, in open and full face.
