Sparco RJ-i Carbon Helmet Dispatched To Customer

A Sparco RJ-i Carbon helmet came through the showroom this week on its way to a customer. It was a special order, made to order for them, and it went straight back out once it had arrived and been checked over.
It is not a helmet we see often, so we took a few photographs of the carbon weave and the interior before it left.

A made-to-order helmet
The RJ-i Carbon was built to order for this customer. When it arrived at the showroom we gave it a quality check and sent it straight on, so it spent very little time on our shelves.
Close up, the carbon weave is the first thing you notice: the shell is left as bare, gloss carbon with just the Sparco logos on it. Inside, the lining and cheek pads are black with Sparco branding.
What the RJ-i Carbon is
The RJ-i Carbon is an open face helmet with a carbon fibre shell, reinforced with layers of carbon-Kevlar to keep it light and strong. The shell and EPS padding are made in two shell sizes, for comfort and ventilation.
It comes with an intercom fitted at the factory: a fully adjustable noise cancelling microphone boom, speakers and Nexus connections, which work with Sparco, Peltor and ZeroNoise systems, and with Stilo using an adaptor. The interior lining is removable, so it can be washed and repositioned.

Our Sparco helmet display
We have a good number of Sparco helmets on display in the showroom for 2024, open face and full face, with current FIA approvals. Two Sparco helmet bags are on display too, which are worth having to protect a helmet between events.
The range runs from helmets suited to karting and track days up to top level FIA helmets for serious competition. The newest option is interior lining colour: many Sparco helmets can now be ordered with a choice of lining colours, which vary by model.
Bundle items at the checkout
Every Sparco helmet on our site has suggested bundle items attached, chosen to suit that helmet: FHR devices such as a HANS, and flame resistant balaclavas.

What approvals does the Sparco RJ-i Carbon have?
It is approved to Snell SA2020 and FIA 8859-2015, and comes with HANS posts fitted.
