When an Impreza STi and a Evo VIII get together, you know its going to be trouble! Both cars and brands have been fighting for supremacy for decades and the on going question of which is better will never be settled.
This was our Subaru Impreza STi which we loved from the day we bought it to the day we sold it. Starting with 283bhp we knew straight away that the car deserved some extra power so with the help of TSL Motorsport we quickly had it brought up to 333bhp with their Triple3 performance pack.
This tuning upgrade smoothed out the turbo lag, increased the overall performance and gave it that bit extra power to give it the racing edge. Realizing the clutch needed some help we then added the AP racing clutch and lightened fly wheel, modifications we felt critical to the project.
We then upgraded the brake pads and discs courtesy of GSM Brakes making sure that we had the stopping power needed to keep up with the performance of the vehicle. We then teamed up with Matthew and his Evo VIII for a day out and a photo shoot! These two cars look powerful and proud sat next to each other and were extremely equally matched in terms of performance and power. As a piston head we strongly recommend these cars for practicality, performance and fun, with every drive you can’t help but smile!
