We are updating our Facebook page with photos of the sports cars we have been proud to have tuned up and enjoyed. This Subaru Impreza STi8 was by far one of our favourite sport cars.
And what gives this car its winning formula? Well when a car has 4 doors so you can take your family shopping, a boot big enough for suitcases but still packs the power of 300+ BHP and handles like a dream you know your onto a winner.
The Subaru Impreza has always been a hugely popular and sort after sports car for these very reasons and when your ready to tune it, the skies the limit! We took our Impreza to around 370bhp by the time we had finished tweaking it and modifying it and we thank TSL Motorsport for completing all the work that was done.
We quickly realized after a track day or two that we needed stronger and more powerful brakes to help keep up with the performance of the engine. So we went through our database on GSM Brakes to work out what we thought would do the trick. We decided on a 2piece brake set up custom designed by HiSpec Motorsport with a race grooved pattern and these really helped to vent the heat away from the pad and increase the longevity of the brakes under heavy use.
