The OMP 2022 Helmet Collection Now Available

We have just updated every OMP helmet on the site for 2022, with current FIA approvals, prices, sizes and colour options, and added the new models OMP has released this season.
The range covers open face and full face helmets with different approvals, from fast road and track day use through to FIA homologated events. Two of them are on display in the showroom, and each helmet now comes with bundle items for a HANS device and a balaclava.

What we have updated
OMP’s helmets are not all built for the same job. Some are approved for fast road and track day use, others carry the FIA homologation you need for competition. For 2022 we have gone through each listing so the approval is clear, and the prices, sizes and colours are current.
Sizes across the range run from XS to XXXL, with the head measurement for each size on the listing. The range also includes carbon fibre helmets, which are lighter and aimed at more serious competitors.
Two OMP helmets in the showroom
OMP GP-R. A full face helmet homologated to FIA 8859-2015. It has a lightweight shell and plenty of ventilation, with four air intakes on the chin and eight vents on top. The standard sized eyeport takes both a classic visor and a touring sun peak, so it suits several disciplines, from single seaters to GT cars. Inside are soft comfort fabrics and a double ring closure.
OMP J-R. A modern open face helmet, also homologated to FIA 8859-2015. The shell is a light composite, the lining is breathable and fire retardant, and it comes with an anti-dazzle white peak with a tinted visor strip. It is available with HANS posts fitted.
Garreth's advice is to try both styles on if you are unsure. An open face helmet feels lighter and more open; a full face gives more coverage. Our guide to open face FIA helmets goes into the choice.

Bundle items on every OMP helmet
Each OMP helmet now has bundle items that suit it: HANS devices and balaclavas. They are optional, but it means the helmet, the head and neck restraint and the balaclava can go in one order.
