Lapping the Nürburgring, for many, is a great record of achievement for showing just how technically advanced their vehicle is. For Japanese manufacturer, Subaru, it’s no different.
Subaru recently took their WRX Sti Type RA NBR for a hot lap around the legendary Nürburgring & set a brand-new record for the fastest four-door vehicle to complete a lap. Clocking in with a time of just 06:57.5, the four-door Subaru was only half a second behind the Porsche 918 Spyder’s lap time. With that in mind, it just goes to show how much power the this Subaru possessed if it was capable of almost beating a beastly hypercar.
We think this run is amazing for a vehicle like the Subaru WRX STI that completed it. Check out the full lap in the video below!
