We have updated every OMP race boot on the website for the 2022 season, with new information, images and FIA homologations. Some of the boots in the range are on our website for the first time.
Race boots are compulsory in most motorsport, because the flame resistant lining protects your feet in a fire, and the thin grippy sole gives you proper feel on the pedals. Here is how the OMP range steps up, from the entry level Sport to the leather boots at the top.

Entry level: the OMP Sport
The OMP Sport is the entry point to the range, and it is aimed at club racers who want the latest FIA approval without spending a fortune. It is made from a soft, light microfibre with a flame resistant Nomex lining.
The rubber sole has a pattern inspired by car tyres, for grip in all conditions and a long life. There is a shaped ankle with a rear bellow for comfort and easier movement, and the design is screen printed onto the boot.
Mid range: the One TT and the First
The OMP One TT is an FIA approved boot for mechanics and for co-drivers who want a more substantial sole with more grip on different surfaces. It has a soft Nomex lining for comfort as well as heat and flame protection.
The OMP First is the new, updated version of the First-S. It has a full suede construction, a comfortable rubber sole and a lace and Velcro fastening. It is a good all round boot for competitive driving.

Top of the range: the Tecnica and the One S
The Tecnica is built to be light. It combines an ultra soft, durable leather inner with a light suede outer, and a reinforced toe box protects the outside of the foot against wear.
The One S is designed for maximum support at minimum weight. It uses a very light full leather construction with reinforcement on the inside, a soft knitted Nomex lining, and a slim, oil resistant micro injected sole. It fastens with laces and a Velcro strap. These are the boots for drivers who want the most feel through the pedals.
OMP boots in the showroom
We have two OMP boots on display this summer. The OMP First is here in black, in sizes EU 44 to 47. The OMP Sport is here in black and red, in EU 39 and EU 43.
Garreth’s advice is to try boots on in the socks you will race in, and to sit down and work the pedals if you can. A race boot should be snug, with no movement at the heel.
