New OMP Track Day Helmets For 2024
Helmet news, January 2024
OMP have refreshed their track day and karting helmets for 2024, and we have the new range on the site for the first time. There is a new full face helmet, the Circuit Evo 2, which takes over from the Circuit Evo with a cleaner look, and an open face helmet, the OMP Star.
Both come in matt black, white and fluro yellow. They are available to pre order now, with deliveries due in February 2024, in time for the start of the season.

- New OMP Star open face helmet
- Both in matt black, white and fluro yellow
- ECE 22.06 approved, for track days and karting, not FIA events
- Pre order now for delivery in February 2024

What is on this page
The new OMP range
The range is two helmets, each in three colours. The Circuit Evo 2 is a full face helmet that carries on from the Circuit Evo, with the same idea behind it and a sleeker shape. The OMP Star is an open face helmet for people who prefer the open design, in open cars or for arrive and drive karting.
Both are ECE 22.06 approved. That makes them suitable for track days, indoor karting and other events where a motorsport homologated helmet is not required. They are not FIA approved, so they cannot be used in events that ask for an FIA helmet.

The Circuit Evo 2 and the Star
The Circuit Evo 2 has a light ABS shell and a wide visor aperture for a good field of view. Inside there is a soft, breathable lining, and there are vents in the chin and the top to keep air moving.
The Star is the open face option. It has no visor, so on a circuit you will need goggles or a visor of your own. The fluro yellow version is the easy one for marshals and your own crew to pick out.

Garreth’s advice for a first helmet is to measure your head above the eyebrows and order on the centimetres, not on the size you usually wear. Our guide to measuring for a helmet shows how.
Discounted helmets in the showroom
Alongside the new range, we have a helmet sale in the showroom. The helmets in it are on display to try on, with the discount already applied, and they can go out straight away or be collected. It covers OMP, Bell, Sparco and Stilo, and runs from track day helmets up to FIA homologated helmets for racing.
Every Stilo and Sparco helmet on the site also has matching bundle items at checkout, such as HANS devices and balaclavas.
