New OMP One Evo X Race Boot For 2024

OMP have a new version of the One Evo X race boot for 2024. It stays close to the boot it replaces, with a Velcro strap at the ankle and thin cord laces, but the graphics down the sides and across the toe are more subtle than before.
At the same time we have been through our OMP race boot and glove listings, adding the 2024 information, current FIA approvals and the new colours and models released this year. Here is what is new.

The 2024 One Evo X
The One Evo X is OMP's high end lace up race boot. The upper is perforated leather, which keeps it light and lets air through, and it is approved to FIA 8856-2018, the current racewear standard.
The thin cord laces are the detail drivers notice. They sit flat against the boot, do not bunch under the foot and are quick to do up, and the Velcro strap across the ankle holds everything in place once they are tied. The sole is built for grip and feel on the pedals, with reinforcement at the toe and heel where race boots wear first.
The 2024 boot comes in five colours: black, white, red, navy blue and fluorescent yellow, in sizes UK 3.5 to UK 13. Garreth’s advice is that race boots are meant to fit snugly, so order your usual size and talk to us if you are between two.
Our updated OMP boot range
Alongside the One Evo X, the One Evo FX joins our range for 2024. It is a lightweight boot in breathable fire resistant fabric, and its sole has carbon inserts to stiffen it, so the boot does not flex under hard braking.
At the other end is the OMP First race boot, a good all round boot for most kinds of motorsport. It carries the same FIA 8856-2018 homologation as the boots above it, so it is accepted in almost every event that asks for FIA boots. The First is now available in two new colour options, with light blue or fuchsia detailing.

OMP gloves for 2024
The First-S is one of the most popular OMP race gloves. It has a Nomex palm with silicone inserts for grip and an elasticated wrist for a close fit, and OMP have redesigned it for increased heat and flame protection to meet the latest FIA requirements.
Like the First boots, the First-S gloves now come in light blue and fuchsia, on the stripes that run from the thumb and around the wrist. The two can be matched as a set.
