The Complete BC Racing Coilover Guide for Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi checks in at 36 listings in our BC Racing range, and four of those are Lancer Evo. Search for ‘Evo 9 coilovers’ and the listing you land on is titled EVO Vii/ Viii/Ix, because BC Racing groups the platform by shared chassis, not by the number painted on the boot. Evo VII, VIII and IX (CT9A, 01-06) share one listing. Evo IV, V and VI (CP9A/CN9A, 96-01) share another. Those four grouped Evo listings are also the only Mitsubishi fitments that reach every series BC Racing makes, HM and ZR included.
Everything else in the range sits lower down the series table. Eclipse, 3000 GT, the non-Evo Lancer and Galant models top out at BR and RM. The Outlander family, Eclipse Cross and X-Force are BR only or BR and RM. And a run of softer SUVs, city cars and vans, Pajero Sport, Delica D5, Ek Custom and the rest, sit on V1 alone. All 36 are listed below with the chassis code and what splits each fitment.

Every Mitsubishi fitment in the BC Racing range, grouped by model, and what decides which listing is yours.
Which BC series Mitsubishi actually gets
BR covers 28 of our 36 Mitsubishi listings, the widest reach in the range. RM, the inverted strut track series, reaches 22, mostly the same sportier models that carry BR. V1, the comfort-biased series, sits at 8 listings, all SUVs, vans and city cars: Ek Custom, Diamante, Pajero Sport, Delica D5, Grandis, Triton and Savrin.
ER and ZX reach 7 listings each: the four Evo fitments plus three of the sportier Lancer and Galant listings. HM and ZR are narrower still, 4 listings each, and every one of those is an Evo. Nothing else in the Mitsubishi range gets either series.
The Evo range, and why the number on the boot doesn't match the listing
Ask most owners what they drive and they’ll say Evo 6, Evo 8, Evo 9. BC Racing doesn’t sell by that number, it sells by chassis. Evo I, II and III share the CE9A/CD9A listing from 94-95. Evo IV, V and VI share CP9A/CN9A from 96-01. Evo VII, VIII and IX share CT9A from 01-06. Evo X gets its own listing, CZ4A, 07-16.
A buyer looking for Evo 8 coilovers and a buyer looking for Evo 9 coilovers both want the same product. If you know your chassis code it’s the fastest way to confirm which of the four listings is yours, it’s usually on a plate in the engine bay or on the V5.
What to check before you order
Two things decide which Mitsubishi listing you need. The first is chassis code, which matters most on the Evo range and on the Eclipse, where four separate generations run from 1989 through to 2011. The second is drive type, which splits three listings in the range: Eclipse (FWD or AWD) on the first generation, 3000 GT (FWD or AWD), and Ek Custom (2WD or AWD).
Everything in stock is genuine BC Racing, height adjustable, and comes with fitting instructions in the box. If you’re not sure which chassis code or drive type your car has, drop us a message before you order and we’ll check it against your reg.
The Evo, Lancer and Galant range
These eleven listings are the sportier end of the range: all four Evo generations, the non-Evo Lancer and Lancer/Virage fitments, Galant, Galant VR4 and Gto. Check the notes above for chassis code before you pick one.
Eclipse and 3000 GT
Four Eclipse generations and both 3000 GT drivetrains, six listings in total. FWD and AWD are separate fitments on the earliest Eclipse and on 3000 GT, so check drive type as well as chassis code.
Outlander and the rest of the range
The remaining nineteen listings cover Outlander across four generations plus the Euro and Phev variants, Eclipse Cross, X-Force, Mirage, Colt Plus, Grunder and Waja/Fto on BR and RM, plus eight listings on V1 only, the comfort-biased series, across Ek Custom, Diamante, Pajero Sport, Delica D5, Grandis, Triton and Savrin.

Final thoughts
Mitsubishi is a range where the Evo gets the attention, but 32 of our 36 listings are everything else, Eclipse, 3000 GT, Outlander, Lancer, Galant, and a spread of SUVs and city cars most people don’t think to check. Know your chassis code and you’ll find your fitment fast, whichever end of the range you’re at.
