OMP Corsica 330 And Corsica OV Delayed? Every Matching Steering Wheel Alternative

If you ordered an OMP Corsica 330 or an OMP Corsica OV and have been told it is late, you are in good company. These are two of our most popular OMP wheels, and both have been running late from July through to December.

So what are the options? We lined up every steering wheel we list against the two Corsicas on the things that decide how a wheel feels in the car: diameter, dish depth, grip material and spoke design, plus the bolt pattern so your boss kit carries over. Cameron did the measuring and Garreth made the calls, and where we disagree we say so.

The two wheels you are matching

Both Corsicas share the 95mm deep dish, suede grip and three black aluminium spokes with a yellow centre stripe. They differ in size, and the OV has OMP’s waisted figure of eight grip.

The short answer

For the Corsica OV, the closest match is the Sparco 325. It is the same 350mm, the same 95mm deep dish, suede, three black aluminium spokes and a yellow centre stripe, at £216.00. That is £108.00 less than the OV. The one thing it does not copy is the OV’s waisted grip, and no other wheel we list has that shape at 350mm with 95mm of dish. You would be trading the grip for the lower price.

For the Corsica 330, nothing outside OMP matches all of it. No other maker we list makes a 330mm wheel with 95mm of dish in suede. You choose which to keep. Stay at 330mm and take the MOMO Mod.08 330mm (85mm dish, leather) or the MOMO Drifting (90mm dish, leather). Or keep the dish and the suede, and go up to 350mm with the Sparco 325 or the Sabelt SW-390.

How far each wheel sits towards you

Dish is what decides whether the wheel reaches you, so check this before diameter or grip. The Corsicas sit at the deep end.

How far the rim sits towards you

Dish is the depth of the rim in front of the spokes. A flat wheel sits furthest away, and a deep dish brings the rim closer to your chest. Every bar is drawn to the same scale from the figures in our listings.

New for pre-order: the MOMO Model 07 in 330mm

MOMO has just launched its Model 07 in a 330mm diameter, and on paper it is the closest MOMO match to the Corsica 330 for diameter and dish. It uses the same deep dish design as the 350mm MOMO Model 07, in black suede or black leather, with a yellow leather marker at 12 o’clock. Pre-orders are open now and the first batch is due in January 2027.

We do not have a 330mm listing on the site yet, so contact us to pre-order. The 350mm Model 07 below shows the design and the build. This one is for you if you can wait for January, and the wheels above are for you if you cannot.

Garreth and Cameron do not agree on the 330

Cameron says the dish is what fixes the reach, so give up diameter before you give up dish. A Corsica 330 buyer should take the Sparco 325 at 350mm. The wheel sits exactly where the Corsica 330 would have, and the extra 20mm gives more purchase on the rim.

Garreth says people pick 330mm for a reason. Our listing says 330mm gives quicker steering and more knee room, and nobody who wanted that wants a bigger wheel. If you chose 330mm on purpose, take the MOMO Mod.08 330mm and live with ten millimetres less dish.

Where we agree: measure first, and send us the number. If you tell us the distance from your chest to the current rim, we will tell you straight which of these is right.

What we would buy

Three ways round the wait, with prices from our listings.

Waiting on a Corsica OV

Waiting on a Corsica 330, and 330mm matters

Take the MOMO Mod.08 330mm, from £237.59, in leather with 85mm of dish.

Waiting on a Corsica 330, and the dish matters

Take the Sabelt SW-390 at £179.87, 350mm with 90mm of dish in suede.

Already waiting on an order?

Tell us the order number and the wheel you are looking at, and we will talk through the swap. Drop us an email or click to open a chat.

  1. Measure from your chest to the current rim, sitting as you drive.
  2. Pick the closest match from the table above.
  3. Send us the order number and the wheel, and the boss kit you have, so we can check it carries over.

Questions we get

Will my boss kit fit these wheels?

The Corsicas, and the wheels in this guide, use the standard six-bolt 70mm pattern. Our listings for the MOMO, Sparco and Sabelt wheels state it, and the OMP listings say they fit standard OMP, MOMO and Sparco boss kits. Tell us the car and the boss kit and we will confirm.

Is there an exact match for the Corsica OV?

Not quite. The Sparco 325 matches the OV on diameter, dish, suede, spokes and yellow stripe, but the OV's figure of eight grip and its lighter build belong to OMP. No other wheel we list copies them.

Can I pre-order the MOMO Model 07 in 330mm?

Yes. MOMO has launched it in 330mm in black suede or black leather, with a yellow leather marker at 12 o'clock, and the first batch is due in January 2027. It is not on our site yet, so email us or click to open a chat and we will take your pre-order.

Is a 350mm wheel very different from a 330mm?

Our listing says 330mm gives quicker steering and more knee clearance, and 350mm gives more purchase on the rim and a more relaxed feel through fast corners.

Leather or suede?

Suede gives better tactile feedback when you wear gloves. Leather is more durable for road use without gloves.

Does every wheel come with a horn push?

Most of them list a horn push as included. The Sparco R330 does not, and some MOMO wheels use their own horn button, so check the listing for your choice.

Can I change my existing order?

Yes, ask us. Drop us an email or click to open a chat with the order number and the wheel you want, and we will talk it through.

Final thoughts: pick the number that matters most

Every Corsica buyer has one number that mattered more than the rest: the 95mm of dish, the 330mm diameter, the suede, or the shape of the grip. Decide which it was and the choice above is easy.

Ring us on 0115 647 8650 with the wheel you ordered and the car, and Garreth or Cameron will pick the closest match with you, or come and hold a few in the showroom.
