The new Sparco RJ helmet has arrived in our showroom for the first time. It is also on our online store, new for 2022, and can be sent out or collected.
We have sizes S, M, L and XL of the RJ on display, so you can come in and try one on.

What is on this page
The shell and the lining
The RJ has a fibreglass shell reinforced with carbon-Kevlar, which makes it a strong and light open face helmet. It comes with a white fibreglass peak.
Inside, the linings can be removed for washing or repositioning, and the EPS padding is designed to let plenty of air through the helmet, so it stays fresher over a long day. The RJ is approved to FIA 8859-2015 and Snell SA2020.
The RJ is made in seven sizes. Sparco has added a Medium-Large, which gives one more option for getting a close fit between the usual medium and large. The full run goes from XS, for a 53 to 54cm head, up to XXL at 62cm.
There is provision to fit a flexible or a fixed microphone boom later on, if you want to add an intercom.
Why an open face helmet
An open face helmet covers the ears, cheeks and back of the head and leaves the face clear. Open face helmets are a common choice for rallying and for closed cars.

HANS posts fitted at the factory
The RJ comes with HANS posts already fitted, so it is ready to use with a HANS device. Using the helmet with a head and neck restraint gives the driver more safety and support.
