Alpinestars Karting Gloves: Updated Range For 2025/2026

We have updated our Alpinestars karting glove range for the 2025/2026 season, with fresh information, the latest approval details and the current colour options on every listing.
The range has three gloves in it: the Tech 1-KX V4 at the top, the Tech 1-K V3 below it, and the Tempest V2 for wet and cold race days. Here is how they differ.

The Tech 1-KX V4
The Tech 1-KX V4 is the top glove in Alpinestars' karting range and is approved to FIA 8877-2022, the FIA standard for karting clothing. It is built for drivers who race regularly and want the most feel through the wheel.
The seams sit on the outside, so there is nothing to press into your fingers when you grip. The fingers and palm are pre-curved to stop material bunching, the lining is a bonded stretch layer, and a 3D silicone print on the palm and fingers adds grip. The thumb and second fingertip work on a touchscreen.
It comes in eight colourways, from black and red or black and blue to white, black and gold, and sizes run from XS to XXL.
The Tech 1-K V3
The Tech 1-K V3 carries the same FIA 8877-2022 approval, so it is just as legal where that standard is asked for. The difference is in the build. It uses a two-layer fabric with four-way stretch, which gives a snug fit that moves with your hand, and it has pre-curved fingers and palm like the V4.
Silicone prints on the palm and fingers help with grip, and the colours are printed onto the fabric, which keeps the glove light. It comes in black, white and red; black and anthracite; black, orange and white; and white, green and red, in sizes S to XXL.
The Tempest V2 for wet days
Karting in the UK means rain, and a soaked glove loses its grip and its warmth quickly. The Tempest V2 is Alpinestars’ wet and cold weather kart glove. The outer is water-resistant, the inside is lined with fleece for warmth, and the palm has rubberised grip zones for a wet wheel. A hook-and-loop strap closes the cuff so water and cold air stay out.
