BC Racing ZX Series Coilovers Explained
BC’s own category label for ZX says “SUV and larger platform fitments”. Go and look at what we actually stock under it and that label doesn’t hold up. All 180 ZX listings on our site are BMW M cars, Honda Civic Type Rs, Subaru WRXs and BRZs, Nissan Silvias and 370Zs, Mitsubishi’s Evo I through X. Not a single SUV among them.
What the listings do tell you is how ZX gets sold. 179 of the 180 also carry BR and ER on the same fitment, and 40 of them carry the full spread through RM, ZR and HM as well. Order ZX and you’re almost never picking a standalone kit, you’re picking an extra damping tier on a car BC already builds several other ways.

Who ends up on ZX
The deepest company ZX keeps is the club racing regulars. BMW’s E36, E46, E92 and F80 M3 chassis, Subaru’s WRX, STI and BRZ across every generation back to the GC8, Nissan’s S13 to S15 Silvia, Toyota’s 86 and GR86, Mitsubishi’s Evo I to X, and Honda’s Civic Type R and Integra all get every BC tier including ZX. That’s 40 fitments where a customer building a genuine track car has ZX sitting alongside BR, RM, ER, ZR and HM as one more option on the same page.
Outside that group ZX still turns up widely, just paired with BR and ER rather than the full set. BMW’s current 3 and 4 Series, Mercedes’ C-Class and AMG variants, Audi’s R8 and S3, Lexus’ IS and GS ranges, and a scatter of single fitments on makes like Aston Martin, Renault and Chrysler all carry it too.
Where ZX turns up across the range
BMW carries the deepest ZX range by a distance at 44 listings, then Honda at 24 and Nissan at 17. Toyota, Subaru and Mazda follow, then a longer tail down to single fitments on Aston Martin, Skoda, Scion, Renault, Hyundai and Chrysler. All 24 makes are in the table below, no trimming needed at this size.

Final thoughts
If your car shows ZX on our fitment list, check what else is listed against the same product before you order, since on 179 out of 180 fitments BR and ER sit right there too and the choice usually comes down to which tier suits how the car gets used. BMW carries the deepest ZX range on site and our BMW guide covers that range in full, our BC Racing series guide covers where ZX sits against BR, RM, ER and the rest.
