The MOMO Dark Fighter Steering Wheel Arrives In-Store For 2023

The MOMO Dark Fighter has arrived in the showroom. It is a 350mm road wheel, and the first thing everyone noticed when we took it out of the box was the grip: Alcantara at the top and bottom of the rim, and MOMO's AirLeather on the sides where your hands sit.
It is on display now, so you can come in and hold it before you decide. Other MOMO wheels are on display beside it, ready to go out or be collected.

What is on this page
Two materials on one rim
Most wheels use one material all the way round. The Dark Fighter splits it: Alcantara at the top and bottom, and perforated AirLeather at the quarter-to-three positions where your hands spend most of their time.
The centre is the other detail. A black AirLeather pad surrounds the black MOMO horn button, matching the sides of the rim, and the spoke carries a gloss black Dark Fighter mark. We had not seen a centre pad like it on any other wheel on our site.
Size and fitting
The Dark Fighter is 350mm across with a 36mm dish, so it sits close to the column like a standard road wheel, not pushed out towards you like a deep dish rally wheel. It has three anatomical aluminium spokes and comes with the horn push.
Like any aftermarket wheel it needs a hub made for your car. Garreth’s advice is to tell us the make, model and year when you order, and we will match the hub at the same time. We have hub guides by make, such as our Volkswagen hub guide.
The wood version
There is also a Dark Fighter Wood, which swaps the Alcantara for polished wood at the top and bottom and keeps the leather at the sides. It gives a more classic look with the same shape and centre, and it is listed alongside the standard wheel.
The rest of our MOMO wheels
Our MOMO range covers a lot of diameters, dish depths, materials and colours. The Model 08 comes in suede or leather with aluminium spokes in black or blue. At the other end are the Heritage wheels, with wood rims, three-spoke designs and the old MOMO logo, which suit classic cars with period interiors.
In the showroom, alongside the Dark Fighter, is the Prototipo Black Edition. It is a leather wheel with cut-out black aluminium spokes, the Prototipo Black Edition name laser etched on them, and a matt and gloss black MOMO Arrow horn button. It is one we like to show people up close.

What size is the MOMO Dark Fighter?
It is 350mm across with a 36mm shallow dish.
What is the Dark Fighter rim made from?
Alcantara at the top and bottom and MOMO AirLeather on the sides, or wood in place of the Alcantara on the Wood version.
Does the Dark Fighter come with a horn button?
Yes, the MOMO horn push is included, set in a black AirLeather centre pad.
Will it bolt straight onto my car?
No. It needs a hub made for your car, which we can match when you order.
