A new batch of Sparco Slalom FIA race boots has just arrived, and they are on display in the showroom ready to try on. We have them in black in sizes EU 42, 44, 45, 46 and 47, with more sizes and colours on the website.

What the Slalom offers
The Sparco Slalom has soft suede uppers with Sparco’s embroidered logo, and a leather insole for comfort. The slim rubber sole resists oil and fuel and has anti-slip and anti-static properties, so you keep good feel and control on the pedals.
It carries the features you would expect on a more expensive race boot, at an entry level price, which is why it is often the first boot a new driver buys. Race boots are compulsory in most forms of motorsport, because the flame retardant lining protects your feet and the sole gives the grip you need on the pedals.

Other entry level Sparco boots
All of the Sparco boots below carry the FIA 8856-2018 approval. The Slalom Plus takes its inspiration from the Slalom. It comes with either a full suede upper or suede with fabric inserts for extra breathability. It has a newly developed insole, scuff resistant heels and toes, a breathable lining that helps reduce sweating, and an asymmetric thin lace closure for a secure fit.
The Skid and the Skid Plus are Sparco’s newer boots, designed for the latest FIA homologation. Both have abrasion resistant inserts at the sides and heel, overlapping tongues and Kevlar lace loops. The difference is the sole: the Skid Plus has a shock absorbing, anti-vibration sole, and the Skid has a thin rubber sole with a grip texture.
Top of the range: the X-Light Plus
The Sparco X-Light Plus is made from a mix of supple kangaroo leather and synthetic leather, for a comfortable, light high top boot that meets the latest FIA homologation.
It was the first Sparco boot without a tongue. An elasticated internal sock gives a closer fit, a side lace closure pulls it tight quickly, and abrasion resistant leather around the heel helps it last. It comes in a wide choice of colours and sizes.
