What is on this page
What makes the anniversary wheel different
The base is the Mod.07, a three spoke deep dish wheel. For the anniversary edition MOMO has used premium black Italian leather on the grip and black cut-out aluminium spokes.
The details are what set it apart. There is a gold "Anniversario" logo etched on the right-hand spoke and a gold MOMO logo on the bottom spoke, and the black and gold horn button carries a special 60th anniversary logo. A black insert marks the 12 o'clock position.

The rim is hand cross-stitched in green, white and red, the colours of the Italian flag, as a nod to MOMO’s wheels still being made by hand in Italy.

A 70mm dish brings the rim closer to the driver, which is why deep dish wheels suit saloon racing and rally cars, where the seat is often further back. Our guide to deep dish steering wheels explains how dish depth changes the driving position.

The rest of our MOMO range
Our MOMO wheels come in a wide spread of diameters, dish depths, grip materials and colours. The Model 08 has suede or leather grip options with aluminium spokes in black or blue. At the classic end, MOMO’s Heritage range has wooden rims, vintage three spoke designs and the old MOMO logo, and suits cars with retro interiors.
The Prototipo Black Edition is a classic shape with a modern finish: Italian leather, black cut-out aluminium spokes with “Prototipo Black Edition” laser etched on them, and a matt and gloss black horn button. Garreth’s advice for anyone choosing between them is to hold a few in the showroom, because rim thickness and dish are easier to judge in the hand than on a screen.
Why did MOMO make a 60th anniversary wheel?
MOMO was founded by Giampiero Moretti in 1964, so 2024 marked 60 years, and the limited edition Mod.07 celebrates it.

It is 350mm across with a 70mm deep dish and a 30mm rim.
What colours is the stitching?
Green, white and red, the colours of the Italian flag, hand cross-stitched.
Does the wheel need a boss kit?
Yes. Like any aftermarket wheel it needs a hub or boss kit to suit your car.
