New MOMO FIA Racing Boots For 2024

MOMO has two new racing boots out this year, the Corsa Lite and the Performance, and both are now on our site. Each comes in three colours, black, blue and red, in sizes UK5 to UK11.
Both are approved to FIA 8856-2018, so they can be worn at events that call for FIA homologated racewear. The Corsa Lite is the one built to save weight, at around 280g a boot.

The MOMO Corsa Lite
The Corsa Lite is about weight. MOMO gives it as around 280g a boot, and says that is roughly 20 per cent lighter than its own GT Pro in the same size. The graphics are printed on to save weight too.
The upper is a fire resistant, breathable fabric with kangaroo leather inserts and a carbon look insert against abrasion. Underneath is a very thin rubber sole, tested by MOMO for resistance to hydrocarbons and wear, which keeps plenty of feel through the pedals.
The MOMO Performance
The Performance is built the same way, with fire resistant fabric, kangaroo leather inserts and the same thin, hydrocarbon resistant sole. The difference is an air leather insert that wraps round the foot and lets it breathe, which is worth having on a hot day in a closed car.
Like the Corsa Lite, it comes in black, blue or red, from UK5 to UK11, and it carries FIA 8856-2018 approval.
Choosing between them
If you want the lightest boot and the most pedal feel, the Corsa Lite is the one. If comfort over a long stint matters more, the Performance and its air leather insert make more sense. Both carry the same approval, so either will do for an event that asks for FIA 8856-2018 boots.
