New MOMO Heritage Wood Steering Wheel For 2023

MOMO have just released a new classic steering wheel, the Mod 07 Heritage Wood, in time for Christmas. It is on our website now to pre-order, and the first batch is due to be delivered at the beginning of December.
It is a wooden rimmed wheel with black cut-out spokes, made for a car with a retro interior, and it has some neat details you only find up close.

What the Mod 07 Heritage Wood is
The rim of the Mod 07 Heritage is Italian mahogany, and it is 350 mm across. The three spokes are black aluminium with round cut-outs, and the stacked MOMO heritage logo is engraved and finished in yellow on the lower spoke.
In the centre is a brown cigar leather horn button embossed with the MOMO logo. The wheel is handmade in Italy and weighs 1.2 kg.
Finger grooves on the back
A plain wooden rim can feel slippery, so MOMO have cut finger grooves into the back of this one. They give your fingers somewhere to sit, which adds grip and makes the wheel more comfortable on a long drive.
Garreth's advice with a wood rim is to look after it like the rest of the interior: keep it out of strong sun where you can, and clean it gently.
Fitting it to a classic
The horn button comes with the wheel. Like every MOMO wheel, it fits your car with a hub, or boss kit, made for that model, so tell us the car before you order and we will check there is one to suit. The rest of the MOMO range
The Mod 07 joins the MOMO Heritage range, which has wooden rims, vintage three-spoke designs and the old MOMO logo you only see on the classic wheels. For a more modern look, the MOMO Model 08 comes with a suede or leather grip and aluminium spokes in a choice of colours including black and blue.
We also have four MOMO wheels on display in the showroom, including the Prototipo Black Edition, which has an Italian leather rim, black cut-out spokes with Prototipo Black Edition etched on them, and a matt and gloss black MOMO Arrow horn button.
