New Range Of Stilo WRX Helmets Now Live

Stilo's Venti WRX range has just gone live on our site. There are four carbon fibre helmets in it, the WRX Raid and the WRX Dirt, each in a Carbon version and a Zero version, and every one can be ordered in a rally or a circuit specification.
We have also listed the replacement peaks and visors that go with them, so a damaged peak or a scratched visor does not mean a new helmet.

The four WRX helmets
The WRX helmets were developed for the demands of off-road and rally use. All four have carbon fibre shells, a large visor aperture for a wide field of view, and an intercom headset taken from Stilo's Venti WRC rally helmet.
The Raid and the Dirt differ in their peaks and design. Each then comes in two builds. The Carbon helmets are approved to Snell SA2020 and FIA 8859-2015. The Zero helmets use a lighter, stronger shell and are approved to FIA 8860-2018, the top FIA helmet standard.
Stilo makes the WRX shells using its PURO process, which does away with the clear coat. That takes weight out of the finished helmet without changing the shell underneath. The top of the helmet is drilled for ventilation and can take a top air system to duct air inside.

Rally or Turismo: the two versions
Rally. This version is fitted with Stilo’s WRC intercom system: noise reducing earmuffs with built in speakers, a noise cancelling microphone on an adjustable base, and an integrated Venti intercom plug that works with wired or wireless systems.
Turismo (circuit). This version has integrated radio connections, a noise cancelling microphone on an adjustable base and earmuffs certified for circuit use, but no speakers. Speakers are not permitted in the helmet for circuit events, so drivers use in-ear speakers, which are bought separately.
Getting this right at the order stage matters, so if you are not sure which one your events need, ask us before you buy.
Replacement peaks and visors
We have added the WRX spares at the same time. The replacement carbon peaks are made for the WRX Raid Carbon and Raid Zero, in standard and extended lengths, and are worth having as a spare or for replacing a damaged one. They cut glare and can be used with a short or a full visor.
There are full length replacement visors in single or double glazed options, in clear and a choice of tints, and shorter visors for drivers who want the view without the bulk of a full visor.
Bundle items at the checkout
Every Stilo helmet on our site has suggested bundle items attached, chosen to suit that helmet: FHR devices such as a HANS, and flame resistant balaclavas. It saves searching for the pieces that go with the helmet.

What approvals do the Stilo Venti WRX helmets have?
The Carbon versions are approved to Snell SA2020 and FIA 8859-2015, and the Zero versions to FIA 8860-2018.
What is the difference between the Rally and Turismo versions?
The Rally version has speakers built into the earmuffs. The Turismo version has no speakers, because they are not permitted in the helmet for circuit events, so in-ear speakers are used instead.
What is Stilo's PURO process?
It is Stilo’s way of finishing the carbon shell without a clear coat, which saves weight.
What sizes are the WRX helmets made in?
XS (54cm) through to XXXL (64cm).
