The Stilo Venti WRX Raid Carbon has been developed to meet the extreme demands of off-road racing. This version of the helmet (Zero) features the lightest and strongest shell in its class allowing it to exceed regulations for the stringent FIA 8860-2018 approval for maximum head protection, and features a large visor aperture, and an integrated intercom headset borrowed from the Venti WRC rally helmet, providing an enhanced field of vision for the driver, and clear and concise communication in either a wired or wireless format. There is two versions of this helmet available to purchase:
Rally –Â This version of the helmet is fitted with Stilos WRC intercom system which includes: noise attenuating earmuffs which have speakers built in, a noise cancelling microphone with an adjustable base, a fully integrated Venti intercom plug which can be used with wired or wireless intercom connections. All of these features have been carefully designed and considered to ensure you can communicate clearly without interference.
Turismo (Circuit) –Â This version of the helmet comes fitted with integrated radio connections, a magnetic-dynamic noise cancelling microphone with an adjustable base, noise attenuating earmuffs which have been certified for circuit use. The key difference between these two versions is that the Turismo version does not come fitted with speakers, as these are not permitted for use in circuit events; communication is always carried out through in ear speakers which can be bought separately.
The process used when manufacturing the Stilo Venti WRX Raid Zero 8860 Carbon Helmet incorporates cutting edge PURO technology which eliminates the need for a clear coat to be applied, resulting in a reduction in weight without compromising on safety. The top of the helmet is drilled for ventilation and can be fitted with a top air system to provide ducted air into the helmet, improving airflow. The side ports are designed to accept drinks tubes or side air systems, allowing you to have a much more personalised experience when racing.
