Stilo’s 2027 range replaces the WRC 03 with the WRC V7. The WRC 03 still works with every helmet listed below. If you would like the newer unit, drop us an email or click to open a chat.

This Stilo WRC 03 intercom is fitted with Stilo’s top-of-the-range WRC electronics and is designed for use with the Trophy Plus helmets and all of the WRC, ST5 Rally and ST6 Rally helmet range, and also with the WRC headsets. The WRC electronics in these products are matched to complement each other and further enhance the sound and clarity advantage that Stilo has over any other brand.

The unit is designed to run off a 9-volt battery as standard but there is a car adaptor which is available as an extra, to allow a permanent feed from the car’s power supply, this part being the YB0100 – 12v Intercom Adapter.

It has individual volume controls for both driver and co-driver and an automatic on/off power switch which operates when the co-driver has connected/disconnected his helmet plug. The green LED light on the front of the unit illuminates when the intercom is operational.

This intercom comes with an output connector to allow you to connect your own video camera and record the conversation between the driver and the co-driver. Owing to the quality and the sensitivity of our electronics the use of our booster cable may be required to allow the camera to pick up the communications between driver and co-driver.

Which Stilo helmets does this intercom work with?
It works with the Sport Plus, Venti4 Trophy Plus, Venti WRC, Venti4 WRC, Venti WRX and ST6 Rally. For the earlier WRC DES helmets, ask us before you buy. It does not work with Trophy helmets. Our Stilo helmet and intercom compatibility guide shows every pairing.

Will it work with my helmets?
Your helmets need to be intercom-wired, either factory intercom-ready or fitted with a headset kit, and the connectors must match the amplifier system. Tell us which helmets you have and we will spec the exact leads or kits to make this work, in one go.

What do I need for a complete working setup?
An amplifier like this one, a wired kit in each helmet, and the leads that join them. If you are starting from nothing, send us your helmet models and whether you want music, phone, or radio in the mix, and we will quote the full setup rather than leaving you to guess at parts.

Is it loud enough for a race car?
These systems are designed around exactly that problem: a straight-cut gearbox and open exhaust are why sound-deadened headsets and speech-focused amplification exist. Set microphone placement right against the lips and you will hold a conversation at full noise. If your car is unusually loud, ask us about the higher-output units.
