New Sparco FIA Superleggera Racing Boot For 2024
Sparco has released a new FIA race boot called the Superleggera which is a high ankle fit, lace-up boot for all types of motorsport. The Sparco Superleggera features a carbon fibre sole that makes this boot unique compared to the rest of our Sparco range. There is a range of colours available online that integrate well into the new design by Sparco that splits up the colour nicely around the boot.

The Sparco Superleggera OPT is an ultra-lightweight and durable racing shoe, that provides excellent comfort and protection. This racing boot is constructed using a printed flame-retardant fabric upper with transparent silicone reinforcement areas. Sparco has included an internal elasticated sock, which replaces the traditional tongue system featured on most racing boots, instead achieving a much closer fit, and being more comfortable.
The Sparco Superleggera race boots feature a real carbon and rubber sole, with different tread patterns providing excellent levels of grip and dexterity. The extended rear ‘spoiler’ also improves support while driving; the grip, dexterity, and ‘spoiler’ ensure you will feel in full control of the pedals at all times, with reduced slips whilst driving, allowing you to perform at a higher level for longer. The printed design and logos help to keep the weight to a minimum, and the external lacing system provides a close and secure fit.

Sparco Skid Shoe Collection
The Skid and the Skid Plus race shoes from Sparco have been designed to meet the very latest FIA homologation for increased heat and flame resistance. Abrasion-resistant inserts are used in the sides and the heel area to protect the foot and prolong the life of the boot. The flame retardant lining is breathable and has antiperspirant properties to keep you comfortable for longer.
Both Skid boots have similar designs including overlap tongues with integrated side high abrasion-resistant leather inserts and ultra-resistant Kevlar loops. However, the Sparco Skid Plus race boots feature shock-absorbing and anti-vibration soles whereas the Sparco Skid has a thin rubber sole with grip textures.
