P1 pieces in the clearance
The P1 Slim Fit Aramidic Nomex top is made from flame retardant Nomex and gives good protection and breathability. The slim cut suits drivers with a slender build, who can find a standard top baggy under a suit.
To go with it there are the P1 Standard Fit Nomex bottoms, made from soft Nomex fabric for comfort and protection. Together they make a full set of fireproof underwear to wear under a race suit.
P1 gloves are part of the clearance too. The P1 Grip 2 is made from pre-formed, elasticated Nomex, with a silicone coating on the fingers and palms for grip and an elasticated wrist strap that holds it in place.
Gloves are one of the pieces of kit where fit matters most, because a loose glove moves on the rim. Try them on before you commit.
OMP pieces in the clearance
The OMP First long sleeve top is made from double layer, soft knit Nomex in natural ecru. It is an entry-level fireproof top that suits practice days and weekend racing, and it is approved to FIA 8856-2018.
For karting there are the OMP KS-4 kart gloves. They are an entry-level glove with elasticated wrists to hold them in place and suede leather palms for grip, which makes them a good choice for drivers new to karting.

Why the layer underneath matters
Fireproof underwear is the part of a race kit people most often leave until last, but it adds protection in a fire and keeps the suit off your skin. Many championships require it with a race suit, so check your regulations.
