OMP WRC Leather Steering Wheel Now On Display

The leather version of the OMP WRC Red Edition steering wheel is now on display in our showroom. It joins the suede WRC Red Edition, so you can now see and hold the wheel in both grips before choosing.
The Red Edition is OMP's black wheel with red detail: red stitching round the inside of the rim and a red stripe at the top to mark straight ahead. We also have the smaller OMP Targa in the same Red Edition finish, in suede.

The WRC Red Edition in leather
The WRC is OMP's 350mm three spoke wheel, with black aluminium spokes and an oval grip. It is built for racing and rally use. The Red Edition keeps all of that and adds red cross stitching round the inside of the rim and a red leather stripe at the top.
Leather and suede feel quite different in the hand. Leather is smooth and hard wearing; suede gives more grip with a race glove but needs more care. Seeing both side by side is the easiest way to decide.
The Targa Red Edition
The Targa is the smaller of the two at 330mm, a flat wheel for saloon racing and rally cars where the column already sits in the right place. In the Red Edition finish it comes in suede, with the same red stitching and stripe.
So between the two wheels there is a flat option and a dished option in the same look. The dish decides how close the rim sits to you, and it matters more than the grip. Our guide to flat, semi and deep dish wheels explains how to measure for it.

The standard WRC and Targa are on the site in their usual colours, and we keep other OMP wheels on display in the showroom too, including the Velocita Superleggero, a lightweight 350mm suede wheel.
