Our 2022 HANS Device Range Is Live, With The New Stilo HANS Zero

Our HANS device range has been updated for 2022. Every listing now has current information, prices and specifications, including the sizes and the angles each device comes in, so it is easier to find the one that suits your seat and your car.
There is a new arrival too. The Stilo HANS Zero, a full carbon fibre device, has joined the range this season.

What is in the range
We carry HANS devices from the main makers, including HANS, Schroth and Stand21. Most are composite devices, and they come in angles from 10 degrees through to 40 degrees. The angle should match how upright or reclined you sit in the car, which is why the same driver can need a different device in a different car.
For drivers who want to save weight there are carbon fibre versions as well. They do the same job as the composite devices, and cost more for the lighter build.
New for 2022: the Stilo HANS Zero
The Stilo HANS Zero brings Stilo and HANS together in one device. It is made from aerospace grade carbon fibre and our listing gives the weight as 420 grams, which puts it among the lightest devices available.
It has a 30 degree recline and suits 20 and 30 degree applications, so it is aimed at single seaters and sports prototypes where the driver sits further back. It uses sliding tethers for a wider field of view, comes with soft shoulder pads, and is approved to FIA 8858-2010. It is made in medium only, for a neck of 38 to 45.5cm.

HANS devices in the showroom
We have four different HANS devices on display, so you can try them on before you buy. They are here in two sizes. Medium suits a collar size of 15 to 18 inches (38 to 45.5cm) and large is for over 18 inches (45.5cm).
Garreth's advice is to bring your helmet with you. The device, the tethers and the helmet posts all have to work together, and it is much easier to check that with your own helmet on.
The Simpson Hybrid range
We have also brought in a complete range of Simpson Hybrid devices for 2022. A hybrid sits on your back and shoulders, not over your chest and collarbones like a traditional HANS device, and Simpson designs it to be used in the same forms of motorsport where you would otherwise run a 10, 20, 30 or 40 degree device.
