The Club X1’s standard visor is clear. This silver mirror version cuts glare in bright conditions, which is useful for outdoor karting, hillclimb, and any track session where the sun is low or directly ahead. The mirror finish from outside also reduces visibility into the helmet from trackside, which some drivers prefer for comfort during an event.
It is a karting and track day visor, not a competition motorsport visor. The Club X1 range is approved to ECE standards rather than FIA, so this visor suits leisure karting, arrive-and-drive sessions, club karting, and circuit days rather than series requiring FIA-homologated helmets.
Fitting clips to the existing visor mechanisms on the Club X1 and Club X1 Carbon. It is not compatible with other Sparco helmet models, including the X-Pro. If you are unsure which Club X1 variant you have, the model name is printed inside the helmet or on the chin bar.
At £18.25 it is a straightforward addition if you use the Club X1 across different lighting conditions and want the option to swap out the clear visor for something that cuts the glare on a bright day.

How do I get the right size?
Measure around your head at the widest point, about an inch above your eyebrows, and match the centimetres to the size options. The fit should be snug all round with no pressure points, and it should not rotate when you shake your head. Between sizes, try the smaller one first, as linings bed in. Can I use it for track days?

How do I look after it?
Store it in its bag away from heat and direct sun, clean the shell with mild soap and water only (solvents attack the finish and the shell), and let the lining air out after use. And the big one: after any significant impact, replace the helmet even if it looks fine, as the protective liner is designed to crush once.
