A four-person waterproof intercom for offshore racing, part number DB0201.
Four Stilo Nexus helmet connections let the whole crew communicate with each other simultaneously. The unit is sealed in an aluminium case for the marine environment and runs off the boat’s power supply. Controls on the case include an on/off switch, a volume dial and a push-to-talk button for shore radio contact when connected to an external radio via the wiring loom.
This is the four-helmet system for a race boat. Where it sits in the offshore range: no integrated VHF radio connection and no Bluetooth, just clean intercom between four crew members plus standard PTT radio. The DB0202 adds a VHF radio connection and two more helmet points at a higher price; the DB0203 adds VHF and Bluetooth for four helmets.
For a boat running one driver and a navigator, the DB0200 makes more sense when you only need two connections. The four-way is the right choice for a catamaran or larger offshore racer with a driver, throttle man and crew on deck, or where competition regulations require a larger minimum crew count.
